The root is one, the tips are two? (Twin bamboo shoot) Fukuoka – Noo’gata

The bamboo shoot that has same and one root, but two tips was arrived in Fukuoka, Noo’gata city hall on 24th. The main topic in the city hall became ”it looks like a twin.”

Keiko Takesue (73) who lives in Ton’no in Noo’gata city got some bamboo shoots from her neighbor several days before. Among them it was this twin bamboo shoot. Its length is about 25 centimeters. Not making food of it, Keiko decorated her living room with it, since its form is rarely cute. Her husband Hideaki (75)’s friend saw this and brought it to the city hall.

Fukuoka’s Gardener Chief in Ou’ma sightseeing bamboo shoot garden (Kitakyuushuu-city, Kokuraminami-ku, Ouma) said that he has never seen such a shape.

同じ根から先が２本に分かれたタケノコが２４日、福岡県直方市役所に届けられた。「双子のようだ」と話題になっている。

　直方市頓野の武居京子さん（７３）が数日前、隣人からタケノコ数本をもらった。その中に、同じ根から先が２本に分かれている「双子タケノコ」があった。 長さは約２５センチ。形が珍しく、かわいらしかったので、京子さんは調理せず居間に飾った。夫の秀明さん（７５）の友人がそれを見て市役所に持ち込んだと いう。

　合馬観光たけのこ園（北九州市小倉南区合馬）の冨岡修園長は「なかなか見ることがない形」と話している。

モアイさん作・家族のお弁当 Lunch boxes for the family members prepared by Moai-san

父親の私がお弁当を作るようになったきっかけは、長女の幼稚園でのお弁当が始まった時です。最初は娘へのキャラ弁だけを作っていたのですが、１年前、せっかくなので家族全員（夫婦と子ども３人）のお弁当を作ろう！と思い、平日は基本的に毎日作っています。

I, as a father, have started to prepare the lunch boxes since my eldest daughter began to bring her lunch box to the kindergarten. Originally, I prepared Charabento (lunch meal with animation characters) for my daughter only, and then I made up my mind to use this opportunity to prepare all my family members (husband, wife and three children) an year ago, so now I usually prepare them on weekdays.

　長男は小学生で、給食がありますからお弁当はいりません。夫婦の分と娘たちへの分、計４個を、毎朝５時から作っています。

My eldest son is provided lunches by his primary school so that I don’t have to prepare for him. I prepare 4 boxes of lunch meal for me, my wife and our daughters at 5 in the morning.

　そのお弁当を作るきっかけとなった長女が、いよいよ卒園です。

The eldest daughter who motivated me to start preparing lunch boxes, is about to graduate from her kindergarten.

　２年半、一度だけ体調不良で嫁にお弁当作りを任せた以外は、頑張って作ってきました。

I have continued to prepare lunch boxes for my family in these 2 years, except just one time I was sick and asked my wife to prepare the lunch boxes in behalf of myself.

　３月１３日、長女の幼稚園最後のお弁当日ということで作ったお弁当と、その時の家族弁当を投稿します。お弁当を作りながら長女の成長を思い起こし、胸が熱くなりました。

I post the photos of my family lunch boxes for the day, March 13 on which my eldest daughter graduated from her kindergarten. I mentally retraced her growth and got overwhelmed, when I was preparing the lunch boxes.
